मैं

There are two मैं in this verse the first one is me and the one in quotes is my ego.

मैं जब 'मैं' था,तो सब मैं था,
ईश मैं, न्रप मैं, जग मैं जगदीश मैं,
सब मैं था.
मैं जब 'मैं' था,तो सब मैं था,

When I was egoistic,every thing in the world was me.

मैं जब 'मैं' था,तो बस मैं था,
था भीड़ मैं मगर तन्हा मैं था
मैं जब 'मैं' था,तो बस मैं था,

But I was alone.The word सब changes to बस

मैने जब 'मैं' को तोडा,
ईर्श्या के पाश को छोडा,
सब हो गये मेरे अपने,
मैने सब को खुद से जोडा.
मैने जब 'मैं' को तोडा,

When I broke my ego,my jealousy. I found that everyone accepted me

स्व्च्छंद विचार,असीम आनंद,
सभी सुखों से रम हूं
मैं आज हम हूं.
मैं आज हम हूं.
